The EBAH Committee

The EBAH Committee is responsible for the independent review of accreditation applications and for making accreditation decisions. Bringing together experts from across the hematology field, the Committee ensures that accredited educational activities meet EBAH’s quality standards.

Composition

Nine Members: One Chair, one Vice Chair and seven Members

Four seats for the European Hematology Association
Representing Clinical hematology: malignancies, Clinical hematology: benign and Laboratory diagnosis (A Ruggeri, C Zaninetti, AE Eşkazan, M Basset)

One seat for European Society for Bone Marrow Transplantation (EBMT)
Representing Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (A Bazarbachi)

One seat for the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH)
Representing Thrombosis and Hemostasis (I Pabinger-Fasching)

One seat for the International Society of Blood Transfusion (ISBT)
Representing Transfusion Medicine (PJM van den Burg)

One seat for an Education Specialist
Representing the education perspective, appointed by EBAH Committee (D Rees)

One seat for EBMT Nurses Group
Representing Specialized Hematology Professionals (H Mekelenkamp)
